Measure distance points and lay out pattern courses using plumb bobs, levels, and laser alignment tools.

Mix, apply, and finish mortar formulations to ensure optimal bond strength and structural integrity.

Cut and shape masonry units using power saws, chisels, and specialized field equipment.

Fasten masonry to structural frameworks using anchors, ties, and reinforcing steel components.

Collaborate with union crew members and field supervisors to meet rigorous quality and safety standards.

Strong physical endurance, spatial awareness, and dedication to job site safety protocols.

3+ years of commercial bricklaying or masonry experience in field operations.

Openness to entry-level candidates committed to developing a career in commercial masonry.

Ability to travel up to 10% to job sites outside a 30-mile radius of the primary location.

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Journeyman Bricklayer status with 7–10 years of specialized union experience.
