Phillips Medisize, a Molex company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Business Partner / Plant Controller to support our manufacturing operations in Phoenix, AZ and Caldwell,  pivotal role partners strategically with Plant Operations Leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver actionable financial insights, drive operational excellence, ensure financial discipline, and support sustained business growth. This is a hybrid position based out of our Phoenix, AZ or Hudson, WI location.

If the individual is based out of Hudson, 25% travel will be required.

What You Will Do
  • Lead the financial management and reporting for the Phoenix and Caldwell manufacturing plants, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of financial data and reports.
  • Analyze key financial and operational metrics to identify performance trends, cost drivers, and improvement opportunities; present insights to leadership to influence decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain accurate financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses to ensure predictability and manage risks.
  • Serve as a trusted financial advisor to Plant Operations Leadership, supporting commercial decision-making and capital investment planning.
  • Drive continuous improvement by challenging current processes, identifying cost‑saving initiatives, and leading cross‑functional change management projects.
  • Lead evaluations and financial assessments of major new asset acquisitions and capital projects, coordinating with both local plant and corporate teams.
  • Deliver financial training and education to plant management teams, promoting understanding of key financial concepts and metrics.
  • Collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and other functions to develop and implement business solutions that enhance operational and financial performance.
  • Champion and embed the Principle‑Based Management (PBM) culture throughout the plants, promoting ethical decision‑making and accountability.
  • Participate in ad hoc financial and operational projects as assigned to support business priorities and strategic initiatives.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics.
  • 5+ years' experience in progressive, independent financial roles supporting manufacturing or operations environments.
  • Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost control.
  • Experience leading financial evaluations of capital projects and asset investments.

  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
