Primary focus is on supporting Edge Andersen Equipment Solutions internal machine build group. This position will be responsible for assembly, start up, installation and training on new production equipment designed by the EDGE team. This will be a 1st shift position.
Primary Responsibilities- Assembly of automation equipment from start to completion.
- Pneumatic plumbing of equipment.
- Debug and troubleshooting of equipment builds.
- Prioritize work to meet customer deadlines.
- Participate in design reviews with Machine Designers and peers in the shop.
- Strong focus on customer service.
- Understand safety rules and procedures to safely perform all tasks.
- Know and practice respectful workplace behavior.
- Support a culture of best practice on 5S and overall shop safety.
- 2‑year technical degree in a maintenance discipline.
- Autodesk Inventor experience.
- Proficient at print reading and tolerance interpretation.
- Rigging experience.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong computer skills in required applications (Outlook, Word, Microsoft Teams, etc.).
- Machine design experience.
- Machining experience.
- Electrical experience.
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours.
- Must be able to occasionally lift 50 lbs.
- Some heavy lifting required at low frequency; equipment is provided to move or manipulate heavy components.
- Requires repetitive actions such as simple starting, grasping, firm grasping and fine manipulation.
- Handling hazardous waste with appropriate PPE.
- Working near or on hot equipment/materials.
- Willingness to travel to support installs and start‑ups.
$30.60 – $45.32 per hour
