- Supervise and coordinate training activities for all personnel in assigned departments
- Direct and motivate the manufacturing workforce to produce high quality products efficiently and safely
- Ensure scheduling meets business and customer requirements
- Ensure safety through good housekeeping practices
- Achieve efficiency, scrap and set‑up objectives
- Maintain daily attendance through ADP payroll system
- Maintain discipline on shop floor
- Perform annual reviews
- Perform other duties as assigned
This position supervises approximately 30 employees and must follow company policies and procedures.
Qualifications- Graduation from high school or GED, preferably supplemented by an associate degree in mechanical/industrial technology
- Three years experience supervising in a manufacturing environment
- Thorough knowledge of machines and maintenance requirements
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to follow schedules and apply quality control standards, safety requirements
- Ability to address immediate and long‑range problems
- Effective communication and leadership skills, strong human relations skills
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public
High school plus some post high school math or shop math.
Reasoning AbilityAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Physical DemandsFrequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision capabilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Work EnvironmentThe work environment includes humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, vibration, occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles, extreme heat, and moderate noise levels.
2nd shift:
Monday through Thursday 4 p.m. to 2 a.m., Intermittent Fridays.
