• Experience:
  
  3 to 5 years of hands‑on experience in a custom metal fabrication shop environment.
• Set‑Up
  
  Skills:
  
  Proven ability to independently set up and troubleshoot press brakes and plate rolls.
• Math & Measuring:
  Strong shop math skills, blueprint reading, and measurement tool proficiency.
• Physical & Safety:
  Ability to safely rig, hoist, and crane‑lift heavy plate steel; comfortable standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

• Initial Pinch Plate Rolls (1 1/4"×10" capacity preferred).
• Heavy‑tonnage Press Brakes (750‑ton class).
• Oxy/Acetylene cutting tables / Beveling tables.
• Industrial band saws (Marvel or similar).
• Hand angle grinders and pneumatic finishing tools.

• Setup & Operation:
  Perform full setup, tooling selection, sequence planning, and operation for heavy plate processing equipment.
• Plate Rolling:
  Safely operate an Initial Pinch Plate Roll handling material up to 1 1/4" thick and 10" wide.
• Press Brake:
  Perform set‑up and precision bends using a 750‑Ton Press Brake.
• Cutting & Sawing:
  Operate an Oxy/Acetylene Beveling Table and a Marvel Band Saw equipped with 1 1/4" blades.
• Finishing:
  Perform heavy grinding, deburring, and edge preparation for fit‑up and welding.
• Blueprint Reading:
  Interpret fabrication drawings, bill of materials (BOM), and customer specs to ensure proper tolerances and bend deductions.
• Quality & Safety:
  Perform first‑piece and in‑process inspections using precision measuring tools (calipers, protractors, radius gauges). Maintain a safe, clean shop floor.
