Machinist – Custom CNC & Manual Machining | Full‑Time
Join a skilled, family-owned machining team producing custom parts for heavy construction equipment. Work with CNC mills, lathes, and occasional manual machines while programming at the control and ensuring precision on every job.
What You'll Do- Machine custom parts for construction equipment using CNC mills and lathes
- Perform occasional manual machining for one-off or specialty components
- Select and change tooling to match materials and job requirements
- Use precision measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators
- Ensure all parts meet client tolerances and quality expectations
- Read and write G & M code confidently
- Program at the machine starting with Fusion 360
- Proficiency in G & M code
- Experience with Fusion 360 or Mastercam
- 3+ years CNC machining experience
- 2+ years CNC setup experience
- 2+ years at-the-machine programming
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Haas and Fanuc controls
- Knowledge of milling, lathe, and machining operations
- Education preferred but not required

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hudson, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
