CNC Machinist Operator

United Gear & Assembly is seeking a CNC Machinist Operator to support precision component production for advanced technology solutions. Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines to produce precision parts to specification.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to plan machining operations.
• Measure and inspect finished components using precision tools to ensure quality and tolerances.
• Adjust machine settings, offsets, and tooling to optimize performance and part quality.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on CNC equipment.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to improve machining processes and workflows.
• Maintain accurate production, inspection, and maintenance records.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Required Skills

• CNC machine setup and operation
• G-code programming and editing
• Blueprint and technical drawing reading

• Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
