Representative

Basic Function:
Manage established accounts and gain new business within the company’s territory. Sell and introduce new products as well as maintaining established brands in all accounts.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Comprehensive knowledge of our sales portfolio
  • Communicate closely with route drivers, verbally and electronically. Including display locations, price signs, stock rotation, new placements, proper delivery times, credit information, etc. Good communication practices will eliminate many serious problems.
  • You are required to keep your account list updated and current.
  • Make all your scheduled stops
  • Strive to sell in new products to all accounts. Work to gain and maintain as many draught lines as possible
  • Merchandise shelves and displays before leaving an account
  • Utilize all POS. Hard POS must be approved by the sales manager. All displays must have price signs and all shelves must have proper shelf tags
  • Know competitors pricing and understand mark‑up and gross profit calculations.
  • Report competitors pricing and discount changes to management immediately
  • All orders must be synced over by 5:30 PM.
  • Collect your accounts receivables
  • Communicate openly with your customers on accounts receivable issues. Credit is not a right but a privilege and should be looked at as an asset to your customers. Work hand in hand with your supervisor to stay on top off problematic accounts
  • Credit applications must be approved by the sales manager.
