• Facilitate court programming and curriculum presentation, along with service and opportunity events for youth clients
• Interview and counsel individuals to assess the needs and suitability of individuals entering the court program
• Coordinate social services, crisis intervention services and treatments for participating individuals; refer clients to supplementary organizations or programs
• Weekly report client progress, concerns, and achievements in written form
• Attend family staffing meetings regarding the placement of youth and attend home visits
• Assist and attend with active participation in facilitating weekly case staffing’s
• Coordinate with Child Protective Services caseworkers and other service providers involved in assigned cases to develop individualized treatment plan for participating youth
• Collect data required for evaluation and reporting requirements
• Maintain up to date client records to include electronic entry of drug tests, as well as filing documentation of client progress; conduct follow‑up interviews as to the effectiveness of services provided
• Report to a court manager regarding participant non‑compliance with treatment plan
• Assist court manager in staffing the Management Information System (MIS) team and steering committee and ensure maintenance of accurate records using the MIS
• Perform related duties as required

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Services, Behavioral Science, or a closely related field
• Five (5) years of experience working with addiction or child abuse services including certification in early childhood development and a practicum as part of a supervised course of clinical training at an accredited institution of higher learning or a proprietary school; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Good knowledge of child protective services and child abuse and neglect laws
• Skill to communicate effectively with hostile, abusive or irrational individuals and skill in managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing; ability to perform mathematical calculations; ability to adjust to rapidly fluctuating situations; ability to react professionally and safely under potential or actual volatile conditions; ability to operate personal computer; ability to enhance technological skills; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co‑workers, County employees, defendants and their families, outside agencies, caseworkers and the general public
• Proficiency in Excel and Word; ability to develop and maintain a variety of spreadsheets to track client and provider information

• Must have a valid Texas driver’s license, motor vehicle liability insurance and personal injury insurance; or have a self‑reliant source of transportation to conduct business on a daily basis
• Must secure and maintain a favorable background investigation
• Must clear a pre‑employment physical and a pre‑employment drug screen test
• May be required to work more than 40 hours during the workweek
