About the RoleWe’re looking for a reliable, hardworking Laborer to support daily operations at our lumber yard. This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, staying organized, and keeping materials moving efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:Use a forklift to put stock away.
Sort, organize, and store lumber stock in accordance with yard standards.
Count materials that are returned to the yard.
- Build deliveries for the next day.
Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment.
Follow all safety guidelines and report any hazards.
A candidate with legible handwriting and the ability to read a tape measure.
Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
Ability to lift, carry, and move materials throughout the day.
Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
Basic understanding of tools and safe material handling (preferred but not required).
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
This short‑term project offers steady weekday hours, competitive pay, and the chance to build experience in a fast‑paced environment.
