** Warehouse/Backup Driver
** increases operational efficiency, company profitability, and customer satisfaction by accurately and safely receiving and storing materials, processing incoming and outgoing shipments, and ensuring complete and on-time orders for the company’s customers. Backup Drivers provide order and delivery services according to the mission and culture of JHL.

* Responsibilities Include:

*** Pick, fill, and pack orders on a timely basis to ensure prompt and accurate deliveries – including picking pipe and wire cutting when applicable.
* Load and unload materials and trucks
* Safely utilize power equipment when necessary to fulfill orders and restock warehouse shelves.
* Keep the warehouse clean and organized including disposal of leftover packing materials such as wooden crates, pallets, and cardboard
* Maintain accurate inventory management and take inventory of materials shipped or received. Refill primary bins using proper procedures and minimizing open boxes
* Receive and process incoming stock and materials
* Deliver products to customers in absence of FT driver
* Communicate with other departments and branches regarding order status or inventory issues. Work in a team environment to ensure the efficient operation of the warehouse## Qualifications
** Education
* ** High school diploma or GED
** Experience and/or Training
*** 1 year working in a warehouse environment as a team member, working with power equipment such as forklifts, and pulling orders. A solid understanding of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping processes
* Minimum 1 year experience driving a medium-duty commercial or delivery vehicle in all weather conditions
* Takes initiative while displaying leadership qualities
* Strong verbal communication skills for interacting with team members
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
* Ability to collaborate within a multi-functional team
* Ability to work safely and accurately
* Strong math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication) and reading skills
* Detail oriented, organized, consistent, and tenacious
* Organized with strong time management skills
* 2+ years in a warehouse setting, working with power equipment, an RF Scanner, a forklift, wire cutting, and pulling orders preferred
** Licenses/Certificates
*** Valid US Driver’s license
* Clean Driving Record
* Up-to-date federal medical card preferred
