The Opportunity
We are collaborating with multiple companies in Hudsonville seeking experienced Office Managers. These organizations value long-term fit and are looking for professionals who bring both skill and alignment. By joining our network, you gain access to opportunities tailored to your goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee general office operations and administrative support for manufacturing staff.
- Manage procurement and inventory of office supplies, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Coordinate facility maintenance and repairs, liaising with external vendors.
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
- Support HR functions, including new employee onboarding and record management.
- Organize company events, meetings, and travel arrangements for manufacturing leadership.
- Manage incoming and outgoing communications, including mail, emails, and phone calls.
Recommended Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in an office management or administrative leadership role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Experience with basic bookkeeping, budgeting, and procurement processes.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for basic data entry or report generation
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA) and record-keeping requirements
- Ability to coordinate small-scale events or team-building activities
- Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies
