English Learner ParaProfessional - Elementary Level

Job Title

Starting at $18.69 per hour and higher rates for certified paraprofessionals

• 15-20 hours per week
• Potential travel between buildings
• Assist with individual english learner student assessment
• Assist in small or large group student instruction under English Learner teacher direction.
• Tutor english learner students.
• Work with assigned classroom teachers to set up a weekly schedule to assist students.
• Communicate weekly with assigned English Learner teachers on lesson plans and student progress.
• Attend scheduled staff meetings during school hours. Before and after school staff meetings are optional.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• TESOL certification or experience teaching English language learners preferred
• Drivers License and mode of transportation
• Associates degree preferred
• Teacher certified preferred

• Paid sick time
