Salary Range: $75,000 - $114,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Hudsonville that are seeking NPI Engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Drive the successful transfer of new products from design to manufacturing.
• Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams to optimize product manufacturability.
• Develop and implement manufacturing processes, including tooling and equipment selection.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for NPI-related production issues.
• Define and execute validation plans (IQ, OQ, PQ) for new processes and equipment.
• Create and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process flows.
• Participate in design reviews to provide feedback on manufacturability and assembly.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in NPI (New Product Introduction) engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software issues during product development.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, test methodologies, and quality control systems.
• Experience with CAD software (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle) for PCB design and analysis.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLM systems (e.g., Windchill, Teamcenter).
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
• Proficiency in a scripting language (e.g., Python) for data analysis or automation.
• Understanding of manufacturing execution systems (MES).
• Background in a specific manufacturing process (e.g., CNC machining, injection molding, PCB assembly).
