Salary Range: $87,000 - $128,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Hudsonville that are seeking skilled Advanced Quality Engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement advanced quality control plans and inspection methodologies.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for complex quality issues.
• Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other quality tools for process optimization.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis and problem-solving.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure quality at all product lifecycle stages.
• Conduct supplier quality audits and provide technical support for supplier development.
• Develop and deliver quality training programs to manufacturing personnel.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of the Quality Management System (QMS).

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
• Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, FMEA).
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with statistical software packages (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for data analysis and process improvement.
• ASQ certifications (e.g., CQE, CSSBB, CMQ/OE).
• Familiarity with advanced metrology and inspection techniques.
• Experience with AI/ML applications in quality control.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP).
