Salary Range: $68,000 - $102,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Optimize existing manufacturing processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Design, develop, and implement new production processes and equipment.
• Conduct root cause analysis of process deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including SOPs and work instructions.
• Monitor key process performance indicators and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new processes into production.
• Implement and maintain process control systems to ensure product quality and consistency.
• Perform process simulations and modeling to predict and optimize process behavior.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to analyze and optimize manufacturing processes using tools like Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
• Strong understanding of process control systems, instrumentation, and data acquisition.
• Experience with process simulation software and statistical analysis tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex process issues.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred)
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP, R, Python) for statistical process control and root cause analysis
• Familiarity with automation and control systems (e.g., PLCs, SCADA, DCS)
• Project management experience, including leading cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of GxP regulations and experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., pharma, biotech, medical device)
