Exciting news! We're looking for a Electrical Engineer I to join our Engineering Department.
Full Time, 8:00am – 5:00pm M-F
$66,490 - $74,670
Responsible for the design and development of innovative and reliable electrical systems for environmental test chambers.
· Modifies existing schematic and panel layout designs.
· Possesses knowledge of Bill of Material structures and basic ERP functionality to effectively fulfill job duties.
· Designs and releases electrical assemblies and associated drawings using AutoCAD Electrical, adhering to engineering best practices.
· Designs and releases basic custom modifications to a standard ENA chamber model.
· Utilizes the ENA problem-solving process to identify and correct errors in work outputs.
· Follows engineering group procedures and ISO standards.
· Processes basic Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) for modifications and additions to standard chambers and options.
· Learns to calculate chamber FLA using the FLA calculation tool.
· Creates designs that are efficiently and cost-effectively manufactured within the limitations of our own production facilities and those of our affiliates.
· Possesses a basic understanding EJI
0530 electrical design standard and consistently incorporates it into designs.
· Works under supervision.
· Regular, physical attendance is required.
· Other duties may be assigned.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
0-2 years of relevant experience, including internships, is required.
Must be able to perform basic electrical engineering calculations (voltage, current, heater, and transformer calculations).
Knowledge of Microsoft Office including (Word, Excel, Email) is required.
Previous experience with AutoCAD Electrical is required.
Ability to read and comprehend multiple step instructions (in the English language), short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the Production shop.
While performing the duties of this Job the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts (while out in the Production shop).
