Controller - Hudsonville Area

Salary Range: $121,000 - $170,000 depending on experience

• Manage financial reporting, including month-end close and preparation of financial statements.
• Oversee cost accounting activities, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes for the manufacturing operations.
• Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide strategic recommendations to management.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and other statutory requirements.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure tracking.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with significant time in a manufacturing environment.
• Expertise in cost accounting, inventory valuation, and analysis of production variances.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Proven ability to lead a finance team and drive financial process improvements.

• Experience with ERP implementation or optimization projects (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365).
• Proficiency in data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Certification or experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Advanced financial modeling and automation skills in Excel (e.g., VBA).
