Salary Range: $86,000 - $132,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Hudsonville that are seeking skilled Logistics Managers. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire supply chain, from raw material procurement to finished product distribution.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
• Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock control for manufacturing operations.
• Coordinate transportation logistics, including carrier selection, route optimization, and delivery schedules.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers, vendors, and freight companies to secure favorable terms.
• Utilize data analytics to monitor logistics performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant shipping regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Lead and develop a team of logistics professionals to achieve departmental goals.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in logistics and supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for logistics functions.
• Strong understanding of transportation management, warehousing, inventory control, and distribution processes.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze logistics data, identify trends, and implement process improvements.
• Certification in APICS CSCP or CLTD is a plus.

Bonus Qualifications

• APICS CSCP or CLTD certification
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification
• Experience with a specific ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
• Fluency in multiple languages relevant to global supply chains
