Job SummaryAs a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, repairing, and supporting production equipment. This highly production-focused position is responsible for ensuring equipment uptime, supporting operational efficiency, and executing machine changeovers to meet production schedules.
This is a full-time, 3rd shift position. The schedule is Sunday night through Thursday night from 11pm to 7:30am.
Responsibilities Equipment Maintenance- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
- Conduct inspections to identify and address potential issues before they escalated.
- Perform and lead mechanical changeovers on production equipment.
- Ensure machines are properly adjusted, set up, and verified prior to production startup.
- Work closely with production teams to execute efficient changeovers while minimizing downtime.
- Maintain readiness of equipment to support production.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions promptly.
- Repair or replace defective parts as needed.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure the availability of necessary spare parts.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment history.
- Utilize maintenance management documentation procedures for documentation.
- Ensure that all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and guidelines.
- Participate in safety training programs.
- Work closely with production and other departments to understand equipment needs and priorities.
- Provide technical support and guidance to production personnel.
All other duties as assigned
Experience & Qualifications- 3+ years of Maintenance experience, preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards are not overlooked.
- Physical stamina to handle full shift of being active.
