Exciting news! We're looking for a Welding Fabricator I to join our Weld Department. Working Schedule6:00AM-4:30PM Monday-Thursday with some Friday OT required.
$22.42/hr - $24.06/hr
Requirements SummaryAssists the department with welding and fabricating steel structural frames and sheet metal frames for environmental test chambers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Grinds, cuts, and copes steel.
- Fabricates steel.
- Builds sheet metal frames and steel frames.
- Assists with job set up.
- Performs TIG and MIG welding.
- Reads and interprets blueprints.
- Daily use of hand and power tools.
- Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment.
- Regular physical attendance is required.
- Performs other routine duties as assigned.

Education- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Welding certificate preferred.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, required.
- Ability to read prints required.
- Ability to read a tape measure required.
- Basic computer skills preferred.
