WhatYou’ll Do
Your future starts here! A Materials Supervisor in Training at Royal leads and supports our shipping and receiving teams across the plant. We are looking for people who have a supervisory background in addition to experience in shipping and receiving. Hilo driving experience is essential for this position. This role is open to build our bench strength of Supervisors in Hudsonville.
You will work out of our Quincy or Corporate Grove facility in Hudsonville and report directly to the Materials Manager.
- 1st: 8am-4pm
- 2nd: 4pm-12am
- 3rd: 12am-8am
- Lead a small team in the execution of outgoing and incoming shipments
- Inventory control
- A regular focus on Continuous improvement
- Daily utilization of ERP system (Syteline), scanners and other technology related products
- Prioritize tasks and delegate responsibilities within the shipping and receiving teams
What You’ll Bring
- High school diploma/GED or 3-5 years of solid manufacturing experience
- Experience must include shipping and receiving (hilo driving)
- Current or previous supervisory experience and/or strong leadership skills
- Previous experience working with material systems (ie. ERP systems)
- Syteline experience is a plus
- Willing and able to work overtime (45-50 hours/week)
- Excellent attendance
- No Sunday work
