Speed-Tech Equipment, a leader in recycling, loading dock, and material handling services, is seeking a self-motivated and hardworking individual to join their team as a Mobile Service Technician in Hudsonville, MI.

• Competitive Pay: Skilled technicians can earn between $60,000-$100,000/year, paid hourly ($25-$32/hr based on experience), along with bonus and overtime opportunities.
• Dispatched From Home: You will be dispatched from your home in a company truck traveling to client sites within an hour and a half of Grand Rapids, meaning you are home almost every night. Overtime is available on occasional Saturdays, never Sundays!

• Travel to customer locations to diagnose, service, and repair equipment on‑site
• Perform routine preventative maintenance
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and hands‑on troubleshooting
• Repair or replace components such as cylinders, motors, pumps, valves, hoses, switches, relays, springs, seals, bumpers, pin & bushings, bearings, etc.
• Communicate clearly with customers about findings, repair options, timelines, and costs
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Manage parts, tools, and inventory within the mobile service vehicle
• Follow all safety procedures while working in field environments

Speed-Tech Equipment, a Division of SPEED WRENCH, is well‑positioned in the waste industry and has been servicing and installing compactors and balers for the past 25 years. Their facility is located at 3364 Quincy St., Suite C, which is by the corner of 32nd and Quincy in Hudsonville.

Speed-Tech Equipment has 22 mobile service trucks on the road every day, servicing equipment. They also have 4-part runner vehicles and 2 roll‑back trucks equipped with a crane able to deliver, move, and haul equipment. They have satellite operations in Kalamazoo, servicing Southern Michigan, including parts of Indiana and Ohio, in Flint, servicing the Detroit, Saginaw, and Toledo areas, as well as in Manton, servicing Northern Michigan between Ludington and Alpena, including Traverse City.

Speed-Tech Equipment works in tandem with many local waste haulers and National Account Service Centers.
