Position Overview
Provides direct nursing care in accordance with organizational policies, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, assessing patient conditions, and coordinating discharge planning with the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities- Serve as a primary coordinator for well-coordinated patient care across disciplines.
- Follow physician and nursing orders accurately.
- Communicate patient status effectively and document care activities.
- Licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
- Current BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire, from AHA or Red Cross.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program and professional licensure at time of hire.
- Strong patient assessment, communication, and coordination skills.
