Position Overview
- Provide direct nursing care in a 19-bed Medical/Surgical unit caring for patients with conditions like pneumonia, COPD, CHF, and diabetes.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, communicate patient status, and coordinate multidisciplinary care.
- Follow physician and nursing orders, assess patient needs, and assist with discharge planning.
- Serving as a primary coordinator for patient care.
- Carrying out established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Current RN licensure or eligibility in Alabama.
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire, accepted from AHA or Red Cross.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing school.
- Full-time night shift (7p to 7a).
