UAB St. Vincent's East in Alabama seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide patient care under the direction of a registered nurse or physician. This role supports the Med Surg department on a schedule of three 12-hour shifts from 7am to 7pm.
You will administer medications, monitor patients for adverse reactions, perform laboratory tests, and educate patients and families about treatment plans and follow-up care. Current Alabama LPN licensure and BLS certification within 30 days are required.
