A Day in the Life of a Caregiver / Personal Care Assistant (PCA)As a Caregiver / Personal Care Assistant (PCA), you play an essential role in providing high-quality care for our clients. Working under the direction of a registered nurse, you provide supplementary services related to personal care and assist with homemaking services as needed. You perform only the tasks you have been trained and documented as competent to perform. After checking in with clients, you document the services delivered and report any significant changes.
When the nurse on duty assigns a new task, you accept and complete it promptly. This role offers meaningful work that helps others and supports your sense of purpose in the home care setting.
- 18+ years of age
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to undergo a background check upon hire
