Production Support II - 2nd Shift, Laser Marking (Press Brake)
JOB SUMMARY
This position supports the Press Brake Shipping Department. The employee will perform quality inspection of parts prior to shipment,perform pre-shipment functions, basic machine operation, warehouse work, and inventory work.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inspect parts thoroughly to ensure quality andprint specifications are met by using measuring devices such as calipers and micrometers
- Assembles various piece parts as necessary
- Laser mark products
- Coatings
- Operate basic machines
- Operate forklifts
- Move product in and out of warehouse by motorized or non-motorized equipment
- Administrative work such as working on the computer or filing
- Additional duties as assigned by supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have ability to lift up to 50 pounds and repetitive lifting
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office, typing, 10 key, and internet navigation
- SAP experience a plus
- Must have high energy, be flexible, and have ability to take initiative
- Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices preferred
- Strong attention to detail required
- Must have high energy, be flexible, and have ability to take initiative.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Frequently able to lift or move up to 35lbs
- Occasionally able to lift or move up to 50lbs
- Continuous exposure to indoor manufacturing environment
- Occasional exposure to chemicals and/or fumes
- Continuous exposure to moderate noise
- Continuously stand and walk throughout the workday
- Frequently reach with hands and arms; use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel material
- Continuously wear eye protection (Industry standard safety equipment is provided by the Company, and specific notice is posted in areas where safety equipment is required).

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Inside manufacturing facility and some outside dock work.
WORK SCHEDULE
Full-time; 2nd shift 3pm-11pm
COMPENSATION
$20.71 - $24.82 + shift differential (2nd Shift - 3pm - 11pm, Shift Differential $1.00)
