Children's Home Deputy Manager

About the Role

This Deputy Manager role is ideal for experienced Senior Residential Workers or existing Deputy Managers who are looking to further develop their leadership skills within residential childcare.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Ensure the welfare and care of each child, creating positive relationships and safeguarding them.
  • Supervise staff, lead shifts, and ensure placement plans, policies, procedures, risk assessments and rotas are followed, supporting education.
  • Provide guidance and support to all residential workers.
  • Teach life skills and support children’s journey into adulthood.

  • Structured pay grades; salary based on training and experience.

Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare.
  • At least 2 years of experience within Residential Childcare and working alongside young people.
  • Age 22 years or above.
  • Valid driving licence.
