The Role – What You’ll Be Doing as a HGV Technician

As an HGV Technician, you will work on a modern and varied fleet of HGVs and trailers, carrying out:
 
Servicing, maintenance, repairs, and modification work
Fault diagnosis through to complete vehicle overhauls
Pre-MOT inspections and MOT preparation
Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards
Working in line with strict Health & Safety requirements
What We’re Looking For in the successful HGV Technician
Proven experience as an HGV Technician
In-depth knowledge of commercial vehicles and trailers
Level 3 qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
Ability to undertake all aspects of HGV maintenance and repair
HGV Class 1 licence (desirable but not essential)
