Qualified Electrician

Overview

Smart Power are looking for an Electrician to join their team, working mainly on local jobs across Hull and East Yorkshire. You'll be carrying out a mix of domestic repairs, installations (including EV chargers), and both commercial and industrial projects. There will be occasional travel to cover holidays or sickness, but the role is mostly home based.

Hull based, local work with occasional national travel. 40 hours per week + overtime. Pay and perks listed below.

• Hourly rate circa £22 ph dependent on skills and experience + company van and fuel card
• Overtime paid at 1.5 times after 40 hours
• Fridays often finish early
• Company van (modern Caddy size) and fuel card
• Secure parking at HQ
• Optional weekend work

• Carry out a mix of domestic repairs, installations (including EV chargers), and both commercial and industrial projects
• Assist with testing, repairs, and installations, particularly EICR testing and EV charger installs
• Occasional travel to cover holidays or sickness

• Essentials: NVQ Level 3
• 18th Edition with AM2
• Full UK driving licence

• ECS Card
• 2391 Test and Inspect (not essential if experienced in EICRs)
• EV charger experience
• IPAF
• Industrial or commercial experience
