Telehandler

Position: Telehandler (Contract)
Location: Hornsea

Are you a reliable telehandler operator looking for a short-term contract on the coast? We are seeking an experienced driver to provide holiday cover on a busy new build housing site in Hornsea.

If you are available for an immediate, short-term stint and have a proven track record on residential sites, we want to hear from you.

The Role:

This is a fast-paced role supporting the site team while their permanent operator is away. You will be responsible for keeping the site moving and ensuring trades stay supplied.

Key Responsibilities:

Operating a telescopic handler to move materials across a live housing site.
Loading and unloading deliveries and ensuring materials are stored safely.
Distributing bricks, blocks, and timber to loading bays for various trades.
Performing daily vehicle safety checks and maintaining the machine's cleanliness.
Working closely with the Site Manager to prioritize tasks and maintain safety standards.

Requirements:

Valid CPCS or NPORS card (with the Telehandler category).
Previous experience working on new build housing sites.
Full PPE (Hard hat, high-vis, steel toe boots).
A proactive approach to site safety and efficiency.
A full UK driving licence.
Reliable transport to the Hornsea area.
