Maintenance Electrical Engineer JY1

Hull | £52,000 | 4 On / 4 Off Shift Pattern (2 Days, 2 Nights, 4 Off)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Electrical Engineer to join a busy manufacturing environment in Hull.

Working within a 24/7 operation, you'll be responsible for maintaining production equipment, carrying out fault finding, and supporting site reliability through planned and reactive maintenance activities.

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimise downtime
• Work on PLCs, drives, motors, inverters and control systems
• Complete preventative maintenance activities
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
• Support continuous improvement and equipment upgrade projects
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures

• Previous electrical maintenance experience within manufacturing, industrial or engineering environments
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience working with PLCs, motors, drives and control systems
• Good understanding of electrical schematics
• Knowledge of safe isolation procedures and health & safety requirements
• Reliable, proactive and able to work effectively as part of a team

• City & Guilds Electrical Qualification or equivalent
• 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
