V7 Recruitment is looking for an experienced Automatic Door Engineer for a long-term subcontract opportunity covering Hull, North Yorkshire and surrounding areas.

This is a great opportunity for an engineer looking for consistent, long-term work, predominantly carrying out service, maintenance, fault finding and reactive repairs across automatic door systems.

The Role
Service and maintenance of automatic doors
PPM and scheduled maintenance
Reactive call-outs and fault finding
Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults
Repairs and minor remedial works
Working on automatic sliding and swing doors
Replacing faulty components where required
Completing service reports and documentation
Working independently across Hull, North Yorkshire and surrounding areas

Automatic Door Systems We’re looking for engineers with experience across a range of automatic door manufacturers, which could include:

Record
ASSA ABLOY
GEZE
Dormakaba
FAAC
Tormax
Gilgen
Entrematic
Automatic sliding doors
Automatic swing doors
Powered entrance systems

You don't need experience with every manufacturer, but you must have a strong background working specifically with automatic door systems.

Contract Details
£38.00 – £40.00 per hour
Outside IR35
Initial 6-month rolling contract
Long-term opportunity
Monday to Friday
Consistent workload
Hull, North Yorkshire & surrounding areas
Overtime opportunities available
Weekly pay every Friday
Immediate start available Requirements
Previous experience as an Automatic Door Engineer
Strong automatic door service and maintenance experience
Confident fault finding and repairing automatic doors
Experience across a range of automatic door manufacturers
Good electrical and mechanical knowledge
Full UK Driving Licence
Own tools and suitable vehicle
Able to work independently across multiple sites

This would suit an experienced Automatic Door Engineer, Automatic Entrance Engineer or Door Service Engineer looking for consistent, long-term subcontract work.
