Automatic Door Engineer
– Hull & North Yorkshire £38.00 –£40.00 per hour/Outside IR35 | Long-Term Contract | Weekly Pay
V7 Recruitment is looking for an experienced Automatic Door Engineer for a long-term subcontract opportunity covering Hull, North Yorkshire and surrounding areas.
This is a great opportunity for an engineer looking for consistent, long-term work, predominantly carrying out service, maintenance, fault finding and reactive repairs across automatic door systems.
The Role- Service and maintenance of automatic doors
- PPM and scheduled maintenance
- Reactive call-outs and fault finding
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults
- Repairs and minor remedial works
- Working on automatic sliding and swing doors
- Replacing faulty components where required
- Completing service reports and documentation
- Working independently across Hull, North Yorkshire and surrounding areas
We’re looking for engineers with experience across a range of automatic door manufacturers, which could include:
- Record
- ASSA ABLOY
- GEZE
- Dormakaba
- FAAC
- Tormax
- Gilgen
- Entrematic
- Automatic sliding doors
- Automatic swing doors
- Powered entrance systems
You don't need experience with every manufacturer, but you must have a strong background working specifically with automatic door systems.
Contract Details- £38.00 – £40.00 per hour
- Outside IR35
- Initial 6-month rolling contract
- Long-term opportunity
- Monday to Friday
- Consistent workload
- Hull, North Yorkshire & surrounding areas
- Overtime opportunities available
- Weekly pay every Friday
- Immediate start available
- Previous experience as an Automatic Door Engineer
- Strong automatic door service and maintenance experience
- Confident fault finding and repairing automatic doors
- Experience across a range of automatic door manufacturers
- Good electrical and mechanical knowledge
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Own tools and suitable vehicle
- Able to work independently across multiple sites
This would suit an experienced Automatic Door Engineer, Automatic Entrance Engineer or Door Service Engineer looking for consistent, long-term subcontract work.
