Job Description
I am currently working with a leading Facilities Management company who are looking to recruit an experienced Mobile Maintenance Electrician to join their team, maintaining a portfolio of government-owned commercial buildings across Hull and the surrounding area.
Our client is looking for a fully qualified Electrician with experience in commercial building maintenance to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of electrical systems and building services.
This is a permanent position offering long-term stability, a competitive benefits package and opportunities for progression.
Daily Responsibilities Will Include:
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
Electrical fault finding, repairs and general maintenance
Maintaining electrical infrastructure, lighting, distribution boards and associated plant
Diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults
Carrying out electrical testing, inspections and remedial works
Supporting general building fabric and maintenance duties where required
Completing maintenance reports and updating CAFM systems
Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations
Liaising with site teams, clients and subcontractors
Requirements for the Role:
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Experience in commercial building maintenance
Strong electrical fault-finding and maintenance experience
Full UK Driving Licence
Ability to work independently and manage workloads
Must be able to pass the required security vetting checks
