The business generates approximately $300M in annual revenue and continues to expand through both organic growth and strategic acquisitions.

Team Scope:
Lead and develop a team that includes Senior Accountants, onshore and offshore Staff Accountants, an Accounting Analyst, and Cost/Inventory Accounting resources while partnering closely with the Assistant Controller, Group Controller, CFO, and other business stakeholders. Primary Focus:
Own the general accounting and monthly close function across a multi-entity organization while leading and developing the accounting team, strengthening internal controls, supporting financial reporting, and driving process improvement and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process across all entities. Drive a shortened and standardized close calendar with clear deadlines, cutoffs, and accountability across the accounting team. Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and account roll-forwards. Own the balance sheet reconciliation process within Black Line or a similar reconciliation environment. Ensure all balance sheet accounts are assigned, reconciled, reviewed, and signed off on schedule.

Identify and resolve aged, unexplained, or outstanding reconciliation items. Establish and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls across all entities and locations. Ensure financial reporting is accurate, timely, compliant with U.S. GAAP, and supported by complete audit-ready documentation. Prepare and review management reporting and provide operating expense variance commentary to Controller leadership. Support multi-entity consolidations, intercompany eliminations, and financial reporting.

Support lender and private equity sponsor reporting, including covenant packages. Serve as a primary point of contact for annual financial statement, tax, and insurance audits. Coordinate audit deliverables and respond to auditor requests. Facilitate the capital expenditure request process by partnering with operating departments on project write-ups and ROI analysis. Evaluate capex versus expense treatment and maintain the master capital project tracker.

Route capital expenditure requests to the Group Controller and CFO for final approval. Approve pay files and outbound wires within delegated authority while maintaining proper segregation of duties. Support banking relationships and authorized signer documentation alongside the Assistant Controller. Drive process improvement and automation across close, reconciliations, treasury operations, and accounting workflows.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. 7+ years of progressive accounting experience. 3+ years of direct people leadership and team development experience. Proven experience owning the month-end close process within a multi-entity organization. Strong experience with consolidations and intercompany accounting. Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls. Hands-on leader who can operate both strategically and tactically.
