We have an exciting opportunity for a Scheduler to join the team with Nexus, a teammate company. This position is posted at multiple levels; depending on experience, requirements, and business needs, candidates may be considered at any advertised level. We are proceeding with identifying qualified candidates and conducting interviews while the position is anticipated to be approved soon.
Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and analyze complex, multi-disciplinary project schedules using MS Project and/or Smartsheet.
- Collaborate with customers, project managers, project engineers, and test engineers to define task sequences, dependencies, and resource allocations.
- Collaborate with team members on a regular basis to gather scheduling updates and ensure alignment with project timeline.
- Support planning and execution of risk mitigation projects and test campaigns.
- Identify schedule risks, perform critical path analysis, and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Deliver clear, actionable schedule reports and visualizations to stakeholders at all levels.
- Ensure alignment with NASA/JSC project and program milestones.
Requisition
Qualifications:

- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in a related area and normally possess 3 years of work experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project, including resource leveling, baselining, and custom reporting.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Requisition Preferences:
- 5+ years of experience in technical scheduling, project management, or test operations.
- Familiar with Johnson Space Center (JSC) organizations, processes, and procedures.
- Prior experience working with Space Suits or other areas of Human Spaceflight.
- Background in aerospace, systems engineering, or test environments.

Essential FunctionsWork Environment
Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.
Physical Requirements
May involve sitting or standing for extended periods (up to 90%). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs (up to 5%).
Equipment and Machines
Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, printer, etc.).
Attendance
Regular attendance in accordance with the established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust to peak periods and surge requirements.
