About the RoleWe’re seeking a detail‑oriented CAD Engineer to support our Engineering team with accurate CAD and 3D modeling for HVAC products. This position plays a key role in product development, manufacturing support, and documentation accuracy. This is a full‑time, on‑site role at our Humble, Texas facility (Monday–Friday).
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain CAD models and 3D assemblies for HVAC components
- Produce detailed part, assembly, and fabrication drawings
- Create and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) in the ERP system
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and other cross‑functional teams
- Ensure drawings and models meet industry standards and internal quality requirements
- Support engineering change processes and documentation updates
- Associate’s degree in Engineering, Drafting Technology, or related field
- Two years of CAD modeling and drafting experience
- Proficiency with Solid Works, AutoCAD, or similar CAD tools
- Experience using ERP systems for BOM creation and management
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- HVAC or mechanical manufacturing experience
- Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skills
- Effective collaborator in a team‑oriented, on‑site environment
- Critical thinker with strong business curiosity
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, evolving environment
This role involves work in both office and warehouse settings, requiring appropriate PPE when needed. The position includes computer‑based tasks, moderate physical activity, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Reasonable accommodations may be provided.
