Inside Sales Switchgear Engineer-Low Voltage

Our client is a manufacturer of customized switch gear, founded over 80 years ago. They are primed for aggressive expansion into new and existing markets. We are seeking a dynamic Inside Sales Switchgear Engineer-Low Voltage to support sales growth through vetting of quotation opportunities, project costing, and customer proposal preparation.

• Responding quickly to quotation requests
• Promptly evaluate customer problems and present technical solutions using electrical expertise
• Work cross-functionally with engineering teams to provide customized solutions that meet customers' needs and to evaluate risk, profit, scope of supply, and overall project schedule
• Position the company as the customers' primary consultant and solution provider

• BA or BS with 5 + years of electrical power industry experience
• Strong expertise in switchboards, switch gear, electrical distribution equipment/electrical and mechanical principles, control wiring, and control schematics;
• experience with low voltage
• Demonstrated success with good proposal process methods;
• Financial acumen and understanding of profit margins
• Strong problem solver and adept at relationships with internal and external stakeholders
