Certified Nurse Aide Needed for Home Care in Humble/Kingwood, TX and surrounding areas

Weekend shifts, ranging from 4 hours up to 12 hours in length, Days or Nights available

Kingwood, Humble, Porter, Cleveland, Atascocita, New Caney, and other surrounding areas

Requirements
  • Current Texas CNA certification in good standing
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Valid Texas Driver's License
  • Reliable transportation and current auto insurance
  • Negative TB test or chest x-ray within the last year
  • Must be dependable, compassionate, and professional
  • Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility;
Monitor and report changes in client condition;
Take and record vital signs when required;
Assist with meal preparation and feeding;
Perform light housekeeping and laundry;
Provide companionship and emotional support;
Assist with medication reminders;
Transport clients to appointments and errands as needed;
Follow individualized care plans and agency policies.
