The Medical Assistant 3 is the first contact for patient care. Responsible for administrative responsibilities in addition to patient care. Performs advanced administrative, operational, and customer support tasks that require independent initiative and judgment.

Job ResponsibilitiesThe Medical Assistant 3 performs clinical responsibilities: discussing symptoms, obtaining vital signs, medication/vaccine administration, phlebotomy, collecting specimens, and performing diagnostic screening tests. Additionally, sterilizes and cleans equipment, maintains examination rooms, and documents information into the electronic medical records system. Collaborates with physicians and advanced practice providers. Delivers direct patient care based on certification, and provides advanced guidance, mentoring, and process improvement to other Medical Assistants.
Required Qualifications- Certified or Registered
- Phlebotomy experience
- Medication/vaccine administration experience
- 1+ years of MA experience
- Current/Active CPR Certification
- Travel to other clinics
- Patient facing; TB screening required
- 3+ years MA experience in a PCO center
- Value Based Care experience including HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish

Pay & CompensationPay range: $49,400 - $66,200 per year. Job eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
Hours40 hours per week.
