Job Summary

Position is responsible for coordination of clinical functions within specialty practice to provide physician support, patient care and collection and management of data for research and development.

Hours:

Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

Certifications:

Current state licensure or certification in related discipline

Experience / Knowledge / Skills
  • Three (3) years experience in designated discipline
  • Two (2) years of demonstrated ability to organize and manage data
  • Clinical training commensurate with responsibilities (i.e. LVN, EMT, or equivalent)
  • Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills to enhance & maintain positive relations with physicians, outside organizations, and staff across all disciplines
  • Excellent organizational skills to execute multiple projects
Principal Accountabilities
  • Provides clinical assistance to assigned physician(s) in management of patients.
  • Accountable for customer satisfaction, cost control, and for performance improvement by monitoring and improving the delivery of care.
  • Participates in marketing and promotion within the medical community and the community at large.
  • Ensures quality performance and safe patient care by compliance to appropriate standards and accuracy of performed duties.
  • Ensures safe care of patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service.
  • Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education, skills competency, supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as mentor and resource to less experienced staff.
  • Provides direct patient care as needed.
  • Demonstrates commitment to caring for every member of our community by creating compassionate and personalized experiences. Models Memorial Hermann's service standards by providing safe, caring, personalized and efficient experiences to patients and colleagues.
  • Other duties as assigned.
