Complimentary AM Attendant (Breakfast Attendant)

The Complimentary AM Attendant (Breakfast Attendant) is responsible for ensuring that hotel guests have an excellent breakfast experience. This role requires multitasking, attention to detail, and proactive maintenance of the dining area to keep it clean, stocked, and organized. The attendant also assists with food and beverage preparation, serving guests, and answering questions, all while adhering to the hotel's standards for quality and hospitality.

KEY SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Guest Service & Hospitality: Greet guests warmly, respond to inquiries about hotel services, breakfast options, and local attractions.
  • Food & Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve breakfast items and specialty beverages, maintaining high food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Efficiency & Organization: Keep service areas clean, stocked, and set up according to brand standards; clear tables and refresh buffet stations promptly.
  • Problem Solving: Address guest needs proactively and evaluate solutions for special requests or issues.
  • Teamwork & Collaboration: Support team members, assist with dishwashing, replenishing food, and maintaining tidy kitchen and service areas. Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage professionally with guests and colleagues.
  • Cash Handling & POS Transactions: Perform cashier duties such as closing checks, processing payments, and maintaining transaction records as needed.
  • Physical Stamina: Stand for long periods, lift and carry items (20-50 lbs.), and perform tasks involving bending, reaching, and moving throughout shifts. Handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior experience in food & beverage or hospitality is a plus.
