Primary Responsibilities- Assist experienced technicians in reading and interpreting equipment manuals.
- Perform maintenance and service.
- Inspect and service vehicles.
- Prepare inspection reports.
- Attend safety training.

Minimum Education RequiredHigh School/GED

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities- High School Diploma or GED
- 2-3 years of experience in relevant field or in a shop setting
- Strong interest in mechanics and willingness to learn is essential
- Good attendance is a must
- Basic tools required and willingness to get a CDL
- Must be able to travel up to 25%
- Previous education in a technical degree program in automotive or diesel mechanics is preferred
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety are essential
- Willingness to learn and develop skills in completing DOT, ANSI Crane or Bucket and Dielectric tests
- Using a circuit tester or multimeter
- Reading wiring diagrams
- Troubleshooting PAT, LMI and similar on-crane control systems.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to adapt to change
