Accounting Manager

ACCOUNTING MANAGER POSITION

The Accounting Manager at Jaguar Fueling is the person primarily responsible for the day-to-day accounting functions for the company. This working manager will provide directions to multiple reports, and support other departments through commitment to our values, and by adhering to Jaguar Fueling process and procedure. Initiative will be required to improve accounting processes to function seamlessly across the organization, as well as to learn, study, and establish better structures where needed.

This role will require a self-directed worker looking to be a part of a healthy and functioning team.

• Plan, direct and coordinate all accounting functions (A/R, A/P, financial, reporting, etc.)
• Manage all financial data, providing accurate accounting and job-cost reporting vital to the decision-making process for the company.
• Prepare internal and external financial reports and coordinate activities with Controller for annual review.
• Coordinate with human resources to hire, train, and retain skilled accounting staff.
• Work closely with the credit department to evaluate issues that need to be approved.
• Review & approve accounts payable coding.
• Oversee the completion of month-end closing.
• Review the work of the billing departments and resolve issues that arise.
• Assisting with software implementation with Oracle Net Suite
• Evaluate, maintain, and improve accounting and internal control systems.

• Experienced in full cycle AP, A/R, billing, and collections.
• Experienced in financial statement preparation and reporting.
• Capable of developing/monitoring business performance metrics
• Proficient in Quick Books Enterprise. Experience in Oracle Net Suite strongly preferred.
• Service oriented with team members and management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and communication channels simultaneously. Ability to handle large email volume and to prioritize and juggle concurrent demands.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and 5+ years of progressively responsible experience
• Well-developed Problem Solving & Analytical skills
• Experience as supervisor/manager. Proven leader, accomplished in establishing relationships and motivating performance.
• Experienced in accounting systems and MS Office;
  Advanced Excel skills preferred.
• Preference will be given to CPA or CMA candidates.
