Cargo Warehouse SupervisorPlans, directs, and coordinates activities of the station, ensuring the operations of the facility comply with controlling authorities, agencies’ policies, and regulations. This is accomplished by personally performing duties or delegating to facility personnel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Supervise daily warehouse operations during assigned shifts, ensuring timely, safe, and accurate cargo handling.
- Be well‑versed in all aspects of international cargo handling, warehouse build‑up and breakdown.
- Monitor and uphold service‑level performance and other predefined KPIs.
- Lead, direct, and motivate the employee workforce using basic management skill sets, including but not limited to employee counseling, coaching, progressive discipline, and management frameworks.
- Hold employees accountable for near‑misses, incidents, accidents, and other failures against policies, regulations, and directives.
- Assist with staff scheduling, training, onboarding, and performance evaluations.
- Conduct briefings and provide On‑the‑Job Training (OJT) as necessary.
- Support audits, inspections, and change management as required.
- Ensure effective and sustainable implementation of corrective measures.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional and timely fashion.
- Maintain professional communication and coordination with airlines, freight forwarders, and internal departments.
- Observe and enforce employee safety and welfare in accordance with dnata Cargo and government policies, regulations, and directives.
- Have firm understanding of all associated regulatory requirements and customs documentation.
- Ensure adherence to safety and security procedures relating to TSA, USCBP, FAA, USDA and other regulatory or company regulations.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management to support operational and business requirements.

- 2+ years cargo handling experience in a warehouse environment.
- Must be able to work under pressure.
- Ability to prioritize and adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lead and effectively delegate.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Minimum High School Diploma.
- Must possess a valid work permit for employment in the U.S.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
