Pediatric Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN) Humble / Kingwood, TX

Pay: $45-$50 per hour | Overnight Shifts Available

Are you an experienced Pediatric Registered Nurse looking for a rewarding one-on-one nursing opportunity? Bright Star Care is seeking a compassionate and clinically skilled RN to provide private duty nursing care for a medically complex infant in the Humble/Kingwood area.

The Pediatric Private Duty RN provides skilled, one-on-one nursing care in the home according to physician orders and the established plan of care. This nurse will monitor the patient's condition, provide specialized pediatric treatments, administer medications, and collaborate with the family and healthcare team to ensure the highest quality of care.

Candidates must have hands-on experience with:

BiPAP

Cough assist

Airway suctioning

Mic-Key G-tube feedings

Enteral feeding pumps

Experience caring for infants and medically complex pediatric patients is strongly preferred.

Provide skilled nursing care in accordance with physician orders and the plan of care

Monitor respiratory status and overall patient condition

Recognize and respond appropriately to changes in patient status

Manage respiratory therapies including BiPAP, cough assist, and suctioning

Administer G-tube feedings and manage feeding pumps

Administer medications and treatments within RN scope of practice

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Communicate changes in condition to the care team

Follow infection-control standards and agency policies

Build a positive, professional relationship with the patient and family

Current, unrestricted Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license

Current BLS/CPR certification

Minimum one year of nursing experience

Pediatric experience with BiPAP, suctioning, cough assist, Mic-Key G-tube feedings, and feeding pumps required

Pediatric home health or private duty nursing experience preferred

Valid Texas driver's license

Reliable transportation and current auto insurance

Ability to pass required background screening and employment requirements
