HCA Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Acute Inpatient Rehab unit. In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to adults recovering from surgery, illness, or injury who require intensive rehabilitation. You will perform comprehensive assessments, administer medications and treatments, support mobility and functional gains, and coordinate individualized care plans with an interdisciplinary team. You will educate patients and families, promote safety and infection control, and document thoroughly in the EHR.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to acute inpatient rehab patients, including assessments, interventions, and evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary rehab team.
- Administer medications and treatments safely, monitoring responses and documenting accurately in EHR.
- Educate patients and families on rehab goals, self-care, and discharge plans to support safe transitions.
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, contributing clinical input to optimize patient outcomes.
- Monitor patient progress, mobility, and functional gains, adjusting care plans as needed.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety, infection control, and quality standards.
- Support pain management, fall prevention, and skin integrity initiatives on the unit.
- Precept and mentor new staff when assigned, promoting a culture of teamwork and learning.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure patient-centered care.
