Position Overview

Job Title:

Crew Member / Customer Service Associate
Pay Rate: $12.50 to $14.00 per hour

Shift: Rotating

• Greet customers and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for all customers; respond to requests promptly using the GREAT customer service model.
• Support and follow all safety and security initiatives.
• Ensure proper execution of assigned food service programs and general housekeeping tasks (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, etc.).
• Operate the point of sale, maintain proper cash levels, scan items, bag merchandise, and provide change.
• Replenish products and supplies to maintain in‑stock conditions.
• Communicate with management about customer requests and vendor‑related concerns.
• Prepare and assemble food items for various stations (coffee, cold‑station, oven) and assist in food preparation (grilling, baking, packing).
• Perform specific tasks at the cash register, coffee area, and food stations, including operating equipment, handling temperature‑controlled items, and ensuring food safety (checking expiration codes, code‑printing).
• Conduct periodic housekeeping and safety checks in both indoor and outdoor areas, including spill cleanup, cleaning fuel and hazard areas, and maintaining equipment.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by store management.

• Proven and consistently demonstrated skills in customer service, relationship building, and effective communication.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, carry up to 35 lbs over short distances, and perform continuous standing, walking, reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, and other tasks throughout a shift.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work safely with equipment that can reach high temperatures and to use personal protective equipment as required.
• Basic knowledge of food safety procedures (expiration checks, coding).
